The Sparkly Mushroom
It was a sunny Saturday, and the family was out in the garden.
Lili was poking about in the grass when she found something strange. A tiny mushroom — and it was glowing.
"Wow, look at this!" she called. "It's all sparkly!"
Leo came over for a look. "Don't touch weird glowing things, Lili," he said. Then, of course, he touched it.
The mushroom went PFFT and puffed out a cloud of silver dust. It floated over the whole family.
"Achoo!" sneezed Mum.
"Bless you," said Dad. "What a funny little—"
He never finished. Because right then, everything began to grow. The flowers grew taller. The grass grew taller. The fence grew enormous!
"Um," said Lili. "I don't think the garden is getting bigger..."
